CompetentRoofer Ltd provides certification to the roofing industry as a Competent Person scheme operator under Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) Building Regulations for the replacement of roof coverings on all roof types.

Who can be certified by CompetentRoofer?
To be certified by CompetentRoofer the roofing contractor undergoes a series of checks and an audit of the companies work practices, as well as an on-site inspection. Checks are made throughout the year also.
How do I check if my roofing contractor is part of the CompetentRoofer scheme?
Only those registered to the CompetentRoofer scheme can display the logo, they should also have a certificate to prove they have been certified. Alternatively check on the CompetentRoofer website to see which local contractors are certified, or search the company by name. Take a look here
